Default CANBUS errors not showing/beeping unless checked manually

Hi there

I replaced my old 207 with a newer 207. This newer 207 I realised has a rear sidelight bulb out, and the error message is showing when I check the trip computer option from the radio controls, but other than that it isn't bleeping with a warning when a bulb blows (So I'd never know a bulb was out unless I checked for error messages).

Anyone know why this 207 isn't returning an error message with a 'bleep'?

Thanks in advance

Update: When I bought the car, it did bleep and come up with a warning message when there was a problem with the fuel cap magnet that made the car warn that it wasn't in properly.

Since the car has been back to the garage I bought it from, it doesn't even beep about the fuel cap being missing when I take it out and start driving it.

Is there a way to disable the ECU from bringing up error messages? If so, the garage may have done this on purpose?
