Default Anyone repaired a key scratch themselves?

Hi all, some bellend keyed my car on Christmas day last year. Its about 12 inches on the driver side door, not so deep but you can still feel it if you run your fingernails over. Never got round to doing it but now i fancy a go.

Does anyone know what bits i need to buy to sort it?

Thanks

My thoughts:- If it's not gone through the paint then after a thorough cleaning of the area, get a small touch up bottle to match the paint code, paint it in using a very fine artists brush untill it fills the crevise. Do this a little at a time, slowly building it up. With patience and care you may get away without too much sanding with a very fine grit wet & dry (used wet). Let it dry and clean the area and then using a clear coat aerosol give it a few light coats trying to feather it in with the rest of the door. Once the clear coat dries, get a light abrasive polishing creme and lightly buff the area to finish blending it in, finishing with whatever final wax / polish you prefer.
