Default Anti pollution faulty

Getting the title fault on startup,it's under warranty but any idea on what causes this please,runs fine etc otherwise?

Hi had this warning light come on every year without fail since new for 5 years. The first 4 times was a camshaft sensor was faulty. The 5th was a possible problem with the timing chain. If it's under warranty they will fix it for free anyway. Good luck.

Could be lots of things and need to be on planet/diagbox to find out the fault

Just to add,fault showing and management light staying on,have a slight exhaust blow,but doubt this would cause this issue?

Just take it back if under warranty as it needs proper diagnosis

Ok thanks for the info,I'll ring my dealer in the morning to book it in. Needs a look at anyway as I've put 4 litres of oil and over a pint of water in under 5k miles so a bit more than acceptable oil consumption!!!

if its a VTI engine that oil consumption is 'normal', mine is about the same.

Fault code is catalytic converter!!! Cost 600
Also a water leak on temperature sensor seal 88 cost...serviceable items so not warranty covered,nice xmas present....
