Default anti-pollution fault

My wives car has started to cut out while at driving pace and needing to coast into hard shoulder. Sometimes car will start again but will have the anti pollution warning..

I have removed fuses and cleaned with electrical contact spray yesterday cleared faults and it was fine and then she was driving to work and it conked out again...

Its a 207, 2008 1.4 HDI . That old thread seemed to be the closest the symptoms I am having.

I'm dropping off today at Peugeot just wanted to give them some "tips" so they dont go down the change until we fix it approach..
