Default Another Depolution System Warning

Only just bought the car, 1.6 hdi, but after driving it for a while, say 5 miles on the motorway at 70 the engine management light will come up and it will say depolution system faulty. After I stop and the car and it cools down abit the light won't come back on until it is warmed up again.

Looked around on here and people are saying to get the diagnostic boxes, which one is the best to get? Does anybody have experience of the cost a mechanic would charge for the diagnostic test?

You need the car on diagbox for live data and fault codes.

Search this thread to search for a member local to you and contact them. They may be able to help you out for the cost of a beer or two.
