Default AC pully replacement

I drive a 207 hdi 1.6 diesel 07 plate.
I've noticed that the AC pully is making a bit of a racket.
I was wondering if they was anyway you could replace ac clutch/bearing without replacing the entire ac compressor as that works fine.
Has anyone done this?

You cannot buy the pulley on its own but if you buy a good used compressor you can swap them fine done it a few times no idea why you cant buy just the pulley/bearing
assume nothing check everything twice !!

I have a rattle from bottom of my 1.6 Hdi, engine. Dual mass flyweel replaced 20K ago.

Garage told me my rattle was fron either the crank pulley or the alternator, both seem fine to me as I have loosened the aux drive belt and inspected them for play and in the case of the alternator, for correct locking action.

However the ac is not working on the car as it needs regassing - so I am wondering if it is ac compressor being the source, in which case I should obviously change it before regas which is needed.

Can you advise on how you knew it was the ac compressor pulley making the noise an not other potential sources - was the clutch engagement faulty for example?

Thanks in anticipation.
