Default 307 1.4hdi Turbo, drive issues ... sensor hell!

hiya all,
so my misses has a 307 Hdi 1.4 8HX lump,
now then she dunked it a bit but all seemed fine except it threw up a *anti pollution fault* the turbo failed to provide any effort and when it did it surged like hell on off on off.
So knowing the 8HX loom as i do now *sigh* i replaced the Mass Air Flow sensor but now the power from the turbo is fine ... when it kicks in but before that it is dead! not somthing youy want when trying to pull out of a junction!!!

So my next course of action was to muck about with the EGR solenoid as that fixed mine when i had a similar lag issue.
Nothing is showing up when plugged into garage computer (old school issue?)

ideas please?

Just realised ive posted in the wrong page ... sorry

thanks

Why on earth are you dropping money on parts without having any clue what is actually wrong with it?

Get it on a diagnostic reader first so at least you know what you're working with.

Take it to a different garage. This isn't a Morrie thou, you need a competent auto electrician and mechanic to work in tandem to fix it.
