Default 207gti oil on engine cover

I bought a 207gti last night. Today the Low oil light has come on and there is oil on the engine cover and around the first bolt on the engine cover. No lose of power at all and the engine temp is around 85-95...

The oil on the bolt is right above the filler cap and could just be spillage from when it was last topped up by the previous owner. Check the oil using the dipstick, top it up as required, and then keep a close eye on it. If it is losing significant amounts of oil then the seller has sold the car knowing that. Did you buy privately or from a motor trader?

Private. It wasn't like that last night I checked it all out. My friend recons it's the valve gasket cover.

I don't no it's still within the required amount I only collected the car last night. I don't think it's anything to serious. She'll I get a new oil cap and get the valve gasket changed?

There isn't any oil leaking on the floor/un the car.
