Default 207cc 2008 Key Fob Issue

Hi all.

I've just purchased a low milage 2008 207cc GT and for some strange reason both key fobs only unlock and lock the car when the key is close to the ignition barrel. I've been to a local Peugeot dealer today and replaced both batteries so I know the fob batteries are ok. The boot does not open though from the fob.

Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Thanks in advance,

Ben

I had similar problems,

The way I got mine going is, a very fine tipped soldering iron. You might need the button switch replacing. I'm ok with fine work so it wasn't that hard. I went over every soldering point on the board and added more solder to the 3 battery points. Mine work s fine now
