207 power steering fault
Was wondering if anyone would help, I've read a few threads on here about power steering motor faults on the 207.
I have a 2010 1.6 diesel 207 and the steering stopped working, it became juddery before completely cutting out.
I have put it on a diagnostic which showed error codes:
C1404 DAE MOTOR LINKED CONTROL FAULT
P0606 TEMPORARY FAULT ECU
I have seen Peugeot have fixed others through good will, I just wanted to check if those people had the same error codes, so it is definitely the same problem before I start spending money to do a Peugeot diagnostic and get the ball rolling.
Also worth nothing, when the error codes were erased, the power steering came back and has been working since - could it be an intermittent error with the motor or would this suggest something else?

If your steering is working at moment peugeot wont fix it it needs to be dead completely
Sometimes its just the steering angle sensor on the rack causing no signal
assume nothing check everything twice !!
