Angry 207 Not starting

Hi all,

My 207 1.6 HDi 60k has decided to stop starting.

The car unlocks. Windows, radio and lights all work fine. When I try to turn the car over all I get is a solo audio click / knock noise that comes from the passenger foot well area.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Battery not holding enough charge? I guess running the radio etc requires low power output.

Earth wire where is this located? and what should I be looking for?

Starter motor looks online looks as its a garage job.

Thanks

earth wire connects from battery - to engine, starter motor may look fine but that dont mean it is
