Default 207 no head lights

hello wondering if any one can help me. the side lights on my 207 work fine. when I turn the main headlights on nothing happens. the light on the dash appears to tell me there on but they arnt. they both have got separate fuses so any ideas what it could be.

without trying to sound stupid but have you checked the bulbs?

how did you check, did you just look at them? use a multi meter to test for a voltage at the lights, if no voltage pull fuse out and test for a voltage at both sides of the fuse you should have a voltage at one side

if you just looked at the bulb then there is your problem because that does not mean they are not blown
