Default 207 HDi Stange Turbo Noise?

Hi Everyone

My 207 HDi Sport has recently started making a strange noise under acceleration. I can only describe it as a mix between an aeroplane taking off and a robot.

Automatically thought turbo fault but I have no lack of power at all.

Apart from the noise the car runs and drives as normal.

Any help would be appreciated as the noise is driving me insane.

Vacuum leak, one of the pipes is probably loose or split. Or a wheel bearing on its way out if it doesn't make the noise when stationary

Default 207 strange turbo noise

My husband has today had a look and there are no split pipes that he can find however when he removes the tiny black pipe from the actuator the noise disappears completely.

Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?
