Default 207 GTI/RC Turbo oil pipe leak

Hi guys,

I'm fairly sure that my 207 GTI has a turbo inlet pipe oil leak. I've seen some other threads on the subject and it seems to me that it is an expensive fix (but hey? when is it cheap right?).

While i was checking my oil today I also found that one of the clamps (the metal ring that tightens like a belt) sitting around the rubber pipe that connects the turbo outlet to the top of the engine was left completely loose, like I could spin it around the rubber piping and Peugeot were the last ones who would have touched it when they did my timing chain (I don't imagine it came loose on its own).

1) My question is, could this have cause any damage besides my just loosing boost e.g. compression ratio issues, timing issues or am I being paranoid? Im still trying to learn about mechanics at the moment.

2) If so, should I take this up with Peugeot?

Many thanks
