Default 207 GT Timing Chain Lifespan

Hi guys, Iíve had one of these motors before and had to do the timing chain.
I sold the car last year and got a Beemer and Iíve regretted it every day!
So Iíve seen another 56 plate one thatís done 87k and the owner doesnít know anything about the chain. They say they bought it at around 56k and theyíve had it 5 years. To my knowledge, none of the chains in these cars lasted that long, so my question is, is it reasonable to assume that at 87k it was done already? I know thereís also a way to tell so if anyone can explain to me how to check that would be awesome. Thanks :0)

First things firat, is it the 1360cc 16v (timing belt) engine or the EP3 1397cc engine? On a 56 plate it could be too old for the EP3.

207GT makes it a 1.6 most likely and will be chain driven as for knowing if it was done its not really possible to know for sure.
