Default 207 EP3 VTi engine, oil in all 4 spark plug wells.

I had a miss fire so checked to see if it was one of the ignition coils but on removing the first one I found lots of oil in the well, i then checked the other 3 and they were all the same, soaked in oil... so ive not got any blue smoke or excessive white (vapour) from the exhaust, the engine is a little noisy, i think im looking at something expensive and potentially terminal?

Cam cover gasket is leaking or cam cover is loose would be my first check. Other than that you may have a blocked breather pipe

yes 4 'o' rings on the plug holes, can go brittle over time.
you need a valve gasket kit.
