Default 207 (2012) smell of petrol after driving since filling the tank

I bought a 2012 plate 207 sportium this week and everything was fine till I filled the tank with petrol yesterday. Once i got home again and got out the smell of petrol was really strong on the outside of the car. Can't see anywhere that it might be leaking and it's booked in to get checked at the garage I bought it from on Monday. But i thought I'd see if anyone had any ideas what it might be in the meantime and if its safe to drive. I haven't been able to check under the car today as it's been raining but there's no smell unless it's been driven.

Hope that makes sense, holler if you need more info as I'm new to car forums.

TIA

Hi, I did check that straight away. It's locked in but has a very slight wiggle when you try it. Surely if it was that I would have smelt petrol before filling up too?
