Default 207 1.6HDI GT - clutch issue?

Hi Forum peeps

Just bought a 207 on a 06 plate, white with 3 doors and it is rockin.

however I notice the following and would appreciate any guidance upon what could cause it:

When changing down to 1st gear whilst the car is moving (ie. slowing down to stop) there is a bit of a crunch. If I change to 1st gear when stopped there is no crunch.

when starting off in 1st gear it feels a little rough around the biting point.

Any advise?

That'll have a dual mass flywheel. To be brutally honest be prepared for spend to sort it. Best convert it to solid mass flywheel also. Cheaper in the long run.
