Default 207 1.6 vti Throttle body

Hi guys I have a 2008 207 1.6 vti SW outdoor and it is occasionally throwing up engine management fault going into limp mode, when I shut off the engine for a couple of mins and restart all is good again. This seems to be on longer journeys over around 30-45 mins. The fault has been read as a throttle body issue, what is the likely cause of this and cost to replace the throttle body itself

Cheers

dont think i have seen a tb go faulty on this forum, however if you think its the problem there are loads of cheap used parts on ebay and when the air filter housing is moved out the way its only 3 screws and a electrical plug to pull.

you need proper codes.
