Question 207 1.6 hdi (110bhp)sport

my 207 hdi sport has started to cut out for no reason when i am accelerating or driving at a steady speed. i then have to switch the ignition right off and car restarts OK if i leave the battery lights etc on and try to restart it just turns over. A fault anti pollution warning appears on display. Took it to Peugeot dealer who reset diagnostic warning and changed fuel filter and told me hopefully that will fix it. Car still under garage warranty
Anyone came across same problem ???
Thanks
Colin

Did the new filter cure it?

the new filter just got fitted Thursday so i will give it a while. I don't know if this helps but when i took the car in the first time it cut out the garage told me the diesel was darker (asda)than from the garage they use, so the mechanic thought that the fuel maybe a factor. The car can go for long enough then the display shows anti pollution fault and the cat starts to give a wee judder and cut out, total loss of power. Restart as previously mentioned and away i go until it does it again
