Default 207 1.4 petrol won't start

Can anyone help?? I've had an ongoing problem with my 207. Every so often it decides it just doesn't want to start! It turns over but it just won't start. I've called the breakdown people to it and when they arrive it starts! I've left it a varied length of time before calling the breakdown people ranging from within the hour to over 24 hours later...I go back and try it, nothing, the breakdown man turns up and it's fine!! Any ideas what's wrong??

Have a 207 1.4 petrol '08 plate with the same problem. Had two mechanics to look at it and couldn't find what the problem was. Did a full electric diagnostic check which didn't show anything. Car turning over but not starting. One guy said it appeared that it was over fueling, too much fuel in the engine. Left it for a few days and started first time. Now nervous to drive.

Peugeot engine. 1.4 8 valve. There is a software update for hard starting on this engine also. I've loads of them done. Also check for coolant leaking from the electric thermostat.

Software update, dealer only.

Default Peugout 207 won't start

I have a Peugout 207 1.4 Sportium, 2012. Car sometimes will not start when hot, happened 4 times in last month. Last week had driven 10 miles, stopped for petrol, then it wouldn’t start. Waited 5 mins then it started. Have changed battery as recommended by Green Flag but still happened twice since.
