Default 2007 Peugeot 207 turbo filter?

So this morning I found out my turbo is no longer with me😣😥 I read online a contibuting factor is if a mesh filter isn't replaced? Where is this even... had the car for like 4days so I really don't know much about it..

What would you suggest as a standard service, seems like the garages here skip a lot to just make money, so I just want to cover all my bases.

Thank you 😎✌️

The filter your on about is at the bottom
Of the turbo feed pipe behind the dpf

There’s many factors to why the turbo is dead

The mesh filter isn't normally replaced as part of routine servicing. By far the most important factor in turbo life is running exactly correct specification oil and changing it on time. Tearing off with a cold engine is another. If the mesh filter gets blocked that begs the question; why was it blocked?.
