Default 1.6 HDI Sport couple of questions

I've just joined and haven't seen a newbie section. So hi everyone

Just bought a 207 1.6 HDI Sport only had it 2 days and I have a couple of questions.

The anti pollution fault came up after 20 miles of driving is this common fault ( generic)

Also the cigarette lighter and internal map light don't work, looked at the internal fuses and moved them around no luck any ideas please.

OK taken the car to the garage and the fault has been reset but waiting for a phone call about the fault codes, however the guy says that it looks like it has run out of diesel, been emptied by the showroom.

Need a hand with the fuses..... Can anyone direct me to the one that stops the map light, lighter, glovebox light from working please.

Many thanks

What mileage does it have?

Can't help with the fuses I'm afraid. There are driver's handbooks online:

Fuse F7 - 5 amp.

It's got 41k on the clock, didn't come with any service book or history but did come with mot's and receipts.

Used the info in the manual but swapped the 5amps fuses over but no joy on getting the lights to work.

Got it back from the garage and the problem was the fuel filter so all done and dusted, they didn't do the fuse.

So tried to replace the fuse myself and still no joy, no lights.... NADA

Well good news found the snag yesterday but it took all day and had to replace bits of plastic that the garage hadn't bothered to replace or had snapped lugs off. Spent time supergluing them back on.

Turns out F7 was OK but didn't work the lights it was F9 a 30A fuse for the 12V socket then Kerrrrching we have power and lights.

Job Done
