Default 1.6 hdi 110 egr blanking plate

Hi all, ive blanked the egr off with a plate, but theres a code coming up on the machine, P0401 egr insufficent flow, its showing up in the “pending code” and “stored code”, is this anything to worry about?

Thanks

its just the ecu seeing that there is no gas flow.
you could drill a hole in blank plate to allow very small amount of gases though.
Or get the egr removed in programing.
