Default Nearside electric window fault

My front n/s electric window goes down with one touch on drivers door and passengers door but on both doors only goes up a inch or so at a time I read the manual and reinitialised the window and one touch off both front doors the window goes down with one flick and up again with one flick........magic,!
But next time the window is used it has the same problem again........tried initialising a second time window works like magic, try a second time same fault.

Any ideas fellas or ladies.........oh by the way the car is a 2014 8000 mile 2008 allure hdi

Anyone know what actually goes wrong with it?
Useful to know when the car is out of warranty, been quoted 400 just for the parts.

Sadly it seems people who actually repair things are a dying race.
