Default Rust

On my wife's 4 year old 107, we have discovered a small spot of rust on the leading edge of the bonnet. This is very probably from a stone chip. Would Peugeot normally cover this under the corrosion warranty?

A stone chip is damage from an external influence and is not covered under warranty.

If its rusted from inside outwards then it would be a warranty issue. If it hasn't, then it isn't, and whether you mention the stone chip or not it'll be immediately apparent.
