Default Peugeot 107 cranks too long, what could be the reason?

Hi Guys

I am the lucky owner of a 2012 Peugeot 107 with a 1.0 petrol engine.

Yesterday I got into my car. It startet without any problems and I ran in 20km to the beach.
When i Startet it before I drove away i noticed it cranked the engine 5 or 6 times before starting, but did not think about it.
After a quick stop less than a mile afterwards i could barely start the car. I cranked it 3 times of 10 or more turns before it startet.

The car had big service last year and already drove 6500km I just changed the battery because the old was more or les collapsed (The indicator said), and checked the airfilter.

I have no Idea of what it could be, have any of you guys had this problem?

If it starts in runs without problems.

so to confirm it isn't struggling, just turning excessively before it starts?

Could be spark plugs, when were they last changed? Was the service a major service and what was changed/replaced?

The sparkplugs was changed 6500km ago when it had a major service. At the major service oilfilter, oil, airfiler, sparkplugs, gearoil, Multi belt, cooling pump and water was changes and service done to break system.

The strange thing is that this excessively cranking came during the same day over 2 startups and it is struggeling because it is cranking so long that you can hear the voltage lowering?

Is the car idling okay? Cold and hot. Does it struggle to start when cold, hot or both?
