Angry key transponder chip for peugeot 107

HI

I've cocked up big time, I've replaced the the plastic shell for my key remote for my 2007 Peugeot 107 but did not realize there was a transponder chip in it, the old one went in the bin and the bin lorry early this week.

looking on ebay there are a selection of transponder chips, I think the one for the 107 is the ID46, but not sure, can someone please help me identify the replacement chip so that I can buy a replacement.

thanks

This link Car Keys Online - Peugeot 107 Remote Fob (1608508080) wil tell you the transponder type. However, if it's anything like a 206 remote key (which I suspect), you cannot just program a new transponder chip. You also require:

A brand new (virgin) remote module, the four digit security code for the car, and Peugeot Planet (or Diagbox).

You cannot program key with diagbox without a valid SPA server account. 107 has no security code pin. The programming requires diagbox to downloads a file to put system in learn mode as the system is a Toyota one.

Key clone of working key maybe better option

Does that apply to the Planet option built into Diagbox?

Yes the 107/C1 use the Toyota Immobiliser, there is no PIN or similar it relies on the download of a unlock/reset file to the Immobiliser module which then reads keys and then locks again.

Diagbox/Planet will work just not with a clone interface and no account with PSA

I agree many peugeots are not REALLY peugeots and use different systems so 107 4008 bipper boxer etc all use different immobiliser systems to real peugeots
