Hi, I passed my test a few weeks ago and today I had a test drive in an 2010 Peugeot 107 automatic lovely little car, perfect for my first car but I noticed when I drove it up a hill on my test drive I literally had to put the gas pedal to the floor to get it up the hill? Has anyone else here have an automatic 2010 107 that they could give me any hints or tips. Apart from that itís a great little nippy car.

It is possible that the gearshift is biassed to keeping the revs low to save fuel. When the problem arises, note the reading on the rev counter. Then try putting the shift control to the manual position (M) and pushing the lever forward (-), to change to a lower gear. Note the rev counter again - it should be showing higher revs. Has the hill climbing improved?
