Crikey - I saw a post pretty much like this, someone asking for advice, how would I be trying to sell it when I don't know what it's worth?

I appreciate that I don't want to break any rules it's genuinely a value question, there are none on auto trader - just didn't want to under sell it or on the other hand look like a clown asking to much.

Thanks for your reply

A car that hasnít run for 8 years, 138k on the clock, 23 years old. Seriously mate, phone round the local scrap yards. Or break it for parts yourself.

Its worth SCRAP value.

It hasn't run for 8 years, its going to cost someone money just to get it running safely again.

Timing belt, tyres, brake fluid, oil & filter replacements, free of then check the brakes etc just as a minimum to get it running under its own power.

Get a scrap valuation online from one of the many car recycling places then stick it on Ebay spares & repairs with a starting price around the scrap value.

A Peugeot nut make take it of your hands OR it will just go in the shredder for recycling.

You say it hasn't been used for 8 years, but you also say it has a full MOT??

I didn't notice that bit, full MOT...only 7 years out of date. A former used car salesman if ever there was one.
