Default engine light

My Engine warning light has been on for a few days now. the car has a distinct lack of speed compared to normal as well now. just want any rough ideas before i take it to the garage. Also an idea how much it would cost to get the management light checked. Any ideas will be gratefully received. Cheers

Engine light being on and car in limp mode could be caused by a range of things.
A check on the https://www.peugeotforums.com/forums/...anet-map-7734/ for the nearest member to you with Planet would no doubt be cheaper than going to a garage and they would probably be able to interpret the results better too!

It could be anything.

An indy garage with charge 20 - 40 and may use a generic code reader which is NOT recommended.

Peugeot dealers charge 80+VAT. Some dealers which bill in half hourly rates may charge less if they feel they can do the diagnostic in half an hour (it takes ten minutes).

We charge FAR less:
