I saw something the other week on You tube on how to remove a Peugeot gear knob.
Think it went like "turn 90 degrees to the left and pull very hard upwards"
I only remember because I never knew how to take one off

I just kept twisting it back & forth and pulling up with all my strength. They are a tight fit but will come off with a bit of persuasion.

Just pull as hard as you can, they are tight ! Don't forget to unclip the gaiter first or you may be left with a car full of little bits of plastic scattered about ! Try not to twist the gear knob as this can break the plastic mounting on the lever. Expensive.

sit on the centre console with your legs either side of it to gain leverage, and pull like no tomorrow, watch out for the rear vision mirror aswell!
