Default Few questions about the 1007

Hey everyone! Just got a few questions about them as I'm kinda interested in getting one...

So is there any major performance difference from the 1.4 hdi to the 1.6 petrol??

I've read they they are quiet heavy cars.
Also how responsive is the auto gearbox? As I've been looking at 1.6 Petrols I cant see any that are manual, guess there all auto?

And when looking to buy is there anything to keep an eye out for?

I currently own a 206 1.4 hdi. It's been a great car surprisingly! Had a fair share of problems tho but what car doesn't??
