Very stiff clutch

Hi

I have Pug partner and the clutch seems very stiff. it operates as it should and seems to bite in the correct place but the actual operation of the pedal is very stiff - can I do anything to loosen this up?

Sounds like the clutch is worn if its a hydraulic clutch set up.
