hi all ,got an expert 03 i.9 van and the mileometer/tripmeter is not displaying anything ,is it a bulb or new unit reqd ?
if its a bulb do i go in from the front or underneath? many thanks alan

So its working now we have to work out how to get the bulbs in.

For access to the bulbs you need to remove the whole cluster. Piece of cake to do.

Remove plastic trim from around the instrument cluster (clocks) - there should be 2 screws if you look above the clocks. There will also be 3 screws around the centre heater blowers which also need to be removed. This should then free the plastic surround facia and give access to the screws which fix the cluster in place. Undo these and the whole instrument cluster can be pulled out. Access to the bulbs are from behind and twist out. There are 2 or 3 electrical coloured plugs which you probably wont need to disconnect to change bulbs unless you want to take the unit out of the van for whatever reason. Unplugging these is ok.
You should have spare bulbs in the back of the cluster. |
