Smoky Partner Van

Hope you can help. New to this and my first peugoet partner van. Its a 02 old shape and when i start it it fires first time but after about a minute she starts to kind of chugg or hunt and loads of blue smoke out the back. If i drive her for half a mile she is grand and is fine for the rest of the day. Its a real head scratcher for me and im starting to get worried with the winter weather. Also the amber engine light comes on intermittantly and i have noticed when it comes on there is a bit of extra smoke out the back. Cant afford a main dealer.Help

got the same prob with my 607 its going to the dealer tomorrow I will let you know the outcome

well the car went to the dealer they say that the injectors are over fuelling but they dont know whats causing it they are waiting for a reply from peugeot technical hopefully they will find out tomorrow keep you posted

Hi oz sent mine to a local mechanic and he said it was a faulty erg valve. He is blanking it off tomorrow so will let u know how I get on

Read the engine ecu. if there is an advance regulation fault, check the valve timing firstly.
