own partner 2lt hdi. fed up with engine cover rubber retaining screws failing. have made replacements with springs instead and am currently testing them, as replacing with originals was getting boring and expensive. does anybody have other solutions? also slight engine leak from gasket, the one below the rocker cover, excellent base vehicle other than this and considering it is an autosleeper mezan camper does an amazing 47 to 58 mpg.does this model have a particulate filter?

i dont have a garage, nice solution though, however, peugeot put the engine cover there for a reason, and i think there are more people with a problem than without and asides from exposing their inefficiencies i want to solve this has anyone else ideas?

The reason for engine covers is purely cosmetic, so when you open the hood it looks lovely .

The engine cover is a half arsed attempt to help meet noise regs.
