Default Peugot Expert '56 model Brake Warning Light

Hi All,

I have a bit of a little issue in that the brake warning light (orange light on the dash (0) like that) keeps coming up when braking. Now when it first happened I took it back to where I got it from (I only had it a week) and they saw the brake fluid was low so they naturally topped it up and checked the front brakes which were fine and this solved the problem for a few days but now it keeps happening. The van brakes work very well and I have no trouble stopping.

Before I take it back to the dealer is there anything simple that could be causing it that I could possibly repair myself saving me a 60 mile round trip.

Thanks

Sounds like the brake pad warning light wire is shorting off something. They didn't check it correctly!

Is this something that can be fixed easily or do I have to purchase new brake pads?

by the sounds of it, from david, it may have to go to an auto electricians to check the wire.
