Hi All,
I have a bit of a little issue in that the brake warning light (orange light on the dash (0) like that) keeps coming up when braking. Now when it first happened I took it back to where I got it from (I only had it a week) and they saw the brake fluid was low so they naturally topped it up and checked the front brakes which were fine and this solved the problem for a few days but now it keeps happening. The van brakes work very well and I have no trouble stopping. Before I take it back to the dealer is there anything simple that could be causing it that I could possibly repair myself saving me a 60 mile round trip. Thanks |

Sounds like the brake pad warning light wire is shorting off something. They didn't check it correctly!

Is this something that can be fixed easily or do I have to purchase new brake pads?

by the sounds of it, from david, it may have to go to an auto electricians to check the wire.
