Been getting a EML for a couple of weeks intermittently, and lack of turbo boost sometimes when it's showing, but not at other times.
The van is a Partner 07 reg with 80k miles, 1.6 HDi (DV6) diesel engine, and a scan with an OBDII system gave the following fault codes: - Mode 03: Emission related fault codes Address 10 (Engine): 3 Faults Found: P0409 - SAE - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit P0489 - EGR Valve Position Control Circuit: Short to GND P0405 - EGR Temp Sensor (G98): Signal too Low So I picked up a brand new EGR valve from Ebay for £78 delivered, arrived today, and fitted just now. Cleared fault codes and now all is well. So if you come across these codes then EGR replacement should sort you out. |
