Default peugeot expert y reg

will someone be able to shed some light on why my fan blower heating system will not swich off. i turned it on and it went on, but now i tryed turning it off but it just stays on. iv had a look and it seems to be an electrical and not mechanical type thanks for any help.

Does it go off when the ignition's off? If it does, it sounds like the switch is knackered or there's a short just behind it.

thanks for the reply. yes it goes off when i turn the engine off, would you know if there's any tests i can do that might give me an idea of wether it is the swich or a short or shall i get a new swich. and what would cause a short can i fix it? or do i have to take it to a dealer. thanks for the help.
