hi there,
i have just brought an 04 plate expert and im having trouble starting it, ive had a compression check, new glow plugs, new diesel filter and a new air filter, some times i have to bump it to get it going, it turns over fast enough but sometimes it doesnt sound like its firing ? the starting problem can happen anytime of day, once its running its smooth and pulls like a train just wondering if any of you guys know what could be wrong with it, many thanks sneed |

Hi and welcome to the forum
Sounds as though you may have a faulty starter. |

This prob could be down to a corroded immobiliser relay. Everything seems norm until it needs that last spark/glow to get her going.
