peugeot boxer

hi just bought a peugeot boxer 330 lx 2.8hdi 03plate and the seller said its running noisy, suspected big end bearing fault??

first of all any one had or knows anybody whos had the same fault or if you have any mechanical knowlage. looked briefly into fitting a new engine and gear box looking at around £450 which isnt to bad for what ive payed thanks

ye turns out he bigend and crankshaft are very worn?? ah well looking for a engine now so any one hear, see or know of one up for sale would be very gratefull.

heard that the engines are iveco engines?? does any one know if thers any truth in this?
