Default Partner Combi clutch slipping ?

I have a 2008 Partner Combi with 45000 miles
about 3 months ago while going up a slight hill in 4th I noticed the revs rise by 1000 and no speed increase but it went after 5 seconds and has not done it since until last week.
While I was travelling in traffic doing 50mph in 5th and the revs rose again for 5 seconds then I overtook a car same thing for 5 seconds then nothing since.
I have tried doing 40mph in 5th and flooring the throttle and it just pulls like normal.
The mpg varies from 42mpg to 47.5mpg with no real change in driving style
Does this mean the clutch is on the way out as I am going to Scotland (1200 mile round trip) in May and I want to get it sorted before
thanks
David

yeah I would rather wait till it gets worse but I don't want it to go when I am on holiday in Scotland and have to get a hire car to finish the holiday unles it happens on the way back and get recovered back.
Might end up getting it done before I go
checked out the local halfords autocentre and they quote £585 for a clutch replacement
thanks
David

Went for a ride this morning to test the clutch.

Started off in 4th with the handbrake full on applied more Gas and it stalled

tried going up hill in 4th at 50mph 2000 rpm and it just pulled away like normal

tried the 4th gear start off again and stalled again so it's not slipping at the moment

thanks for your replies

David
