need some help with what engine

Hi to you all and hope some one can help me i have a 2004 partner with a 1.9 dw8 engine, the head has gone on it i have just spent £210 on gaskets, bolts, water pump, cam belt thinking it would be ok but no there must be a crack in the head a new one is £570 + VAT.
WITH that in mind im thinking of changeing the whole engine what i need to no is can i put a 1.9 turbo d or any other engine i herd some were i would have to change ecu and things
can anyone help me please i want to start getting it done

i have found a 306 1.9 turbo d engine will this fit and what else would need to be changed
