ignition lock

when the key moves or when driveing my electrics gauges / lights cut out ,if i wobble the key it comes on again , looks like someones oiled it ,has enyone got best solution , can it be repaired ,or is new required ,is it costly

it might be best to check for a loose connection to the ignition. sounds like its that.
