Has anyone ever changed these of adjusted these, Ive got a Partner van 1.6 hdi and its tappity when runing, I have been told it may be these???

Have you tried a forum search? there may be something in the archives regarding this. Maybe under re-fitting cylinder head

They cannot be adjusted. Hydraulic.
To be honest they don't give trouble. Are you sure its not the timing chain.

Its just had a timing belt fitted! its had a fair bit done to the engine as well

A chain drives the two cams. Its a single sprocket setup.
Are you sure its timed correctly as if the marks are lined up incorrectly you'll get tappet type noises. Find out how it was timed up ie a pin into the cam sprocket and bellhousing (wrong) or pin into cam sprocket and crank sprocket (right)
