Hello all,
First post and its a question i am afraid! My '98 Peugeot Expert 1.9D had some intermittant starting problems a while ago, but has been stood for a while when i was working out of the country, and has turned into a permanent problem ![]() When you turn the key nothing happens, not even any clicking, all the lights come on and the glow plugs heat but it just refuses to turn over. My first thought was the start solenoid, but not sure where it is fitted exactly, is it on the starter motor? I have been starting the van by connecting a jump lead from the +ve battery terminal straight to the starter motor, it then fires straight up. Any ideas? Is there a relay or fuse somewhere i may be missing? Many thanks in advance ![]() Dale |

Everything built into the starter. Reckon you need a new one.
