Hi All
I have a 98 expert and the speed o has stopped but the trip/oddometer is still working. I guess the gear box end is ok. Any ideas as to the problem? could it be dry joints etc on the panel, not took it out yet to look. Thanks John |

Try it might be the bevel drive or the speed sensor but it could be some think in the speedo that has gone ????

had same problem with 206. took out the instrument cluster, un plugged the multi-pin plug/plugs from back of speedo, sprayed all connections with electrical cleaner, dried off, made sure all wires were in connectors securely, put everything back together and speedo has worked ok since. worth a try! also check the needle isn't sticking onto the needle rest.
