hi im new here so if ive put this in the wrong place sorry lol. I have fitted a sony cd player to my 2004 (54 plate) expert and it keeps loosing the radio stations and how long into the song i was.
do i need some cable? if so got a link lol? thanks |

More often than not with a sony head unit you will have to swap your switched and constant feed
They are the red and yellow wires at the back of the head unit, they also usually have detachable joints in the middle so you can swap these quickly and easily

Is that a picture of the wires going into your sony head unit or your standard one? i'm guessing by the fact it has a 3rd connector block showing (usually for stalk remote) that its your standard stereo in the pics
Normally on a sony you will have an extra adapter that fits between the connectors shown in your picture and the head unit itself, this is where the red/yellow wires and the pull apart plugs are! (see pic)
