expert odometer

My van had its first MOT with me today and passed (phew!) However the odometer has disappeared. It was working fine this morning when I went out and I switched from the trip counter to the mileage and when I came home it had gone off. I can't see anything even in the dark. Someone please tell me that this is something simple like a bulb?? The speedo is still working fine.

The bulb has gone in the back of the reading.
